Introducing Milton Law Group

A little over three years ago, I left my job in “Big Law” so I could better help individuals and small businesses solve their tax problems (i.e. unfiled tax returns, audits, tax problem solving, payroll tax issues, and IRS criminal investigations). Using my accounting background and experience, I also began providing tax return preparation services to clients on a flat-fee basis.

My firm has grown quickly to more than 200 clients, and as other client needs arose, I expanded my service offerings to other areas: small business counseling (i.e. formation, bookkeeping, payroll, etc.), nonprofit organizations (i.e. formation, compliance, etc.), and litigation (when necessary).

Last year I hired my first full-time employee, Vince Martino, who has become an integral part of my team. As an Enrolled Agent (EA), Vince is a federally-licensed tax practitioner who may represent clients before the IRS in collection matters, audits and appeals. Vince also assists with tax return preparation and provides bookkeeping services for individuals and nonprofit organizations.

Over time, I learned many of my clients had a need for trustworthy estate planning services. To help satisfy this demand, I hired estate planning attorney Kimber L. Monroe who has begun preparing customized estate plans for clients and provides the superb level of service my clients have come to expect. Kimber has practiced law at a high level for more than 20 years, including serving as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 financial services firm, and I am privileged to have her on our team.

With our expanded professional staff and the array of services offered to clients, I decided to change the name of my firm to Milton Law Group. I think the name better reflects the full menu of services offered and our team approach to solving our clients’ tax and legal issues.

If we can be of assistance to you with respect to any tax, small business, or estate planning issue, please do not hesitate to contact us to schedule a consultation.

Sincerely yours,

Mark C. Milton
